ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet is an automatic CPAP device which regulates the air pressure during sleep in patients with sleep apnea. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is a form of positive airway pressure ventilator, which applies mild air pressure on a continuous basis to keep the airways continuously open in a patient who is unable to breathe spontaneously on his or her own. Both modalities stent the lungs’ alveoli open and thus recruit more of the lung’s surface area for ventilation. CPAP typically is used for people who have breathing problems, such as sleep apnea.

The modern compact design provides a stylish look to your personal space and convenient transportation! ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP offers easy starting and control settings. As technology EPR, offers the lowest possible pressure for the duration of sleep and the SmartStart system allows you to start treatment each time you wear your CPAP mask without pressing the start button! The device has a brightness ambient light sensor and AutoRamp function.

The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP detects apneas by separating in the central (CSA-central sleep apnea) and obstructive (CSR-Cheyne Stokes Respiration). This helps in detecting and treating of therapy.

AutoSet algorithm provides the ideal pressure throughout the night. When episode of apnea or hypopnea occurs, the pressure is increased slightly so that the feed pressure to be minimal. The detection of all events is always done in real time. AutoSet algorithm reduces the pressure at end of stroke.

The heated humidifier HumidAir is integrated the main AirSense device ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP providing the ideal temperature and humidity. You choose when to activate and when to deactivate him. It has eight (8) levels of regulation to adjust the level that suits you.

The EPR system offers more comfort during the phase of exhalation. The EPR, is a highly sensitive algorithm that reduces the pressure to a minimum level during the phase of exhalation. Records the breath in real time and adjust the action of continuously providing a slight pressure. The EPR has 3 different levels of regulation and the choice of total shutdown.

AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP allows detailed logging of all readings apnea and episodes on the screen, such as total hours of operation, leaks and seals the CPAP mask, the humidity and temperature details of the air, the average operating hours, episodes that occur per hour and Apnea Hypopnea Index (AHI).

The new function AutoRamp automatically detects when the user sleeps, starting normal operation! The AutoRamp function provides the minimum pressure (pressure comfort) during the phase before bedtime slept the user to be able to sleep comfortably after first loose.

Connected Care

Every AirSense 10 device seamlessly connects to ResMed’s new cloud-based patient management system, AirView.TM So healthcare professionals, including physicians, can now rely on one integrated system to provide all the information needed to effectively manage patients. AirView also offers the capability to change device settings and troubleshoot remotely. Thanks to its remote assist feature, common therapy questions can be addressed and resolved in minutes. Patients can also benefit from an extra layer of support with myAir — an exciting new online program that offers tailored coaching, education and motivational tools to help engage them in their therapy.

Integrated Humidification

Heated humidification is a standard feature built in to all AirSense 10 therapy devices. So with fewer parts to set up and manage, therapy becomes simpler for you and your patients. And with Climate Control’s enhanced Auto option, patients can simply attach the ClimateLineAir heated tube and press Start on their device to receive the ultimate in therapy comfort. There are no settings to change and no complicated menus to navigate.

Intelligent Detection

ResMed’s new AutoRamp feature with sleep onset detection is designed to make therapy as comfortable as possible from the moment your patients turn on the device. It works by delivering a low pressure to help them fall asleep with ease. Once it detects they’re asleep, it comfortably ramps up the pressure to ensure the prescribed level is delivered the moment they need it.

Unique Therapy for Women

Although nearly 40% of newly diagnosed sleep apnea patients are female, there has never been a therapy designed specifically for women — until now. The AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her therapy device intelligently addresses the unique therapy needs of women with the first dedicated algorithm designed to treat mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in female patients. Taking into account the higher instances of flow limitation often seen in women with sleep apnea, the AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her mode offers a tailored therapy solution for your female patients.

Clear Insight

The AirSense 10 series includes central sleep apnea (CSA) and Cheyne–Stokes respiration (CSR) detection to provide treating physicians valuable insight into the continued health of your patients. The algorithm has been designed to identify indications of CSA and CSR, which you can monitor through AirView, to quickly and accurately provide patients with information to seek the right treatment.
